Our Story

Looking back, it's hard to believe how far this journey has

taken us. We (Josh and Stacey) spent nearly 20 years

building successful careers in corporate America, doing

everything we were told we were "supposed" to do. We're

incredibly grateful for those opportunities, but over time we

realized something was missing. Our careers lacked

inspiration. They lacked soul.

We had always dreamed of owning a small business that

could make a meaningful impact in our community. Neither

of us had restaurant experience, but we shared a passion

for great pizza and bringing people together. While the

Portland metro area has so many fantastic pizzerias, we

believed there was room for something special in the

suburbs. So, we took the leap.

Our home kitchen became our test kitchen. We made and ate pizza almost every day until we created a dough recipe we were proud to serve. We found a small former pizzeria, renovated it ourselves, and in early 2021, during the middle of a global pandemic, we opened our first Society Pie location in Beaverton near Washington Square.

The response from our community exceeded anything we could have imagined. Because of the incredible community support, we opened our second location in Tanasbourne in 2022, allowing us to serve even more neighbors while continuing to support local schools, nonprofits, fellow small

businesses, and provide free meals to anyone going through tough financial times.

As we celebrate 5 yrs, we're excited to open our 3rd Society Pie location in Downtown Hillsboro!

While we've grown from one location to three, the heart of Society Pie hasn't changed. You'll still find the same handcrafted dough that started in our home kitchen. The same genuine hospitality. The same commitment to quality ingredients, great service, and the best lunch value around. Most importantly, you'll find the same family-owned business committed to strengthening the communities

we serve.
